Content optimization

Get more from the content you already have.

Your website already has pages and articles, but you are not sure which ones need work. We review their search performance, content and purpose to choose useful updates.

Let’s discuss your content
  • Pages to improve
  • Targeted updates
  • Follow-up

Start with the existing pages

Choose the pages worth working on.

We connect the searches associated with each page, its role in your offer and the results available. A page that appears in search but gets few clicks, outdated information and overlapping articles call for different work.

We also check changes in demand, seasonality and tracking. Fewer clicks alone do not prove that the content is the problem.

What we look for.

We investigate the cause before choosing a change.

  • Information no longer matches your offer.

  • Important questions remain unanswered.

  • Several pages cover the same topic.

  • A page loses visibility or leaves readers unsure what to do next.

A useful page can still leave a question unanswered.

A service page explains the work but leaves out the information a customer needs to request a quote. An update can answer that question and make contacting you easier. We record the change date and review the available data afterwards.

For your approval

Review notes

  1. Page and reader need

  2. Missing information for requesting a quote

  3. Addition confirmed by your team

  4. Search activity, clicks and enquiries where measurable

The work

From review to update.

We choose the work each page needs, then review what changes.

What you receive

Specific changes for each page.

You can see the selected pages, prepared changes and points to track.

  1. Review the pages

Page inventory, associated searches, available results and outdated information.

    Priority pages

A shortlist of pages, with the reason to review each and the information to check.

  2. Choose the change

Expand, rewrite, consolidate or keep the page, depending on its purpose and the evidence.

    Proposed changes

Answers to add, sections to update and links that help the reader.

  3. Prepare and approve

We prepare the changes; your team confirms the facts and approves the content.

    Revised content

Updated copy and business details for your team to confirm before publication.

  4. Review and adjust

We review the available data after the change and decide whether further work is useful.

    After the update

    Follow-up

The change date, observations to compare and the next decision.

Every update needs a reason.

We keep what already helps readers. An article’s age or length alone is not a reason to rewrite it.

  • Fewer clicks can reflect changes in demand, competition or a technical issue.

  • Your team confirms the business details and approves the content before publication.

  • Consolidating pages includes reviewing URLs and any redirects with the person responsible for the website.

  • Follow-up considers other changes during the period; rewriting does not guarantee more traffic.

Your questions about content updates.

Does everything need rewriting?

No. Some pages need a correction or an update; others can stay as they are. We explain the reason for each intervention.

Can we keep the existing URLs?

We first consider improvements to existing pages. Any URL change or consolidation is agreed with you and includes the necessary checks.

What if the site has little data?

We start with the pages, your offer and the searches studied. We identify missing data and keep hypotheses separate from measured results.

When should content be updated?

When information changes, an important need is not covered or the results warrant a review. Timing depends on the topic, your business and the available data.

How do we know whether the update helped?

We record the changes and compare relevant periods. We review clicks and measurable actions without automatically attributing every change to the rewrite.
